ART locks
ART certified bicycle locks wholesale
INTERBOSCH supplies ART certified bicycle locks to retailers, bike shops, DIY stores and webshops. The ART mark is the Dutch standard for bicycle security and is used by insurers as a requirement for expensive bikes and e-bikes. This category brings together the locks in the range that carry that certification.
ART classes in this range
The class is indicated with stars. The range covers three classes:
- ART 2, two stars, for everyday use and commuting
- ART 3, three stars, for expensive bikes and e-bikes
- ART 4, four stars, for the highest security requirements
The right class decides insurability and claim handling. That makes this category suited to buyers who want to advise their customer rather than just sell a lock.
Which lock types
- Chain locks and combinations of chain and padlock, in ART 2, 3 and 4
- U-locks in ART 4
- Frame locks in ART 2
- Folding locks in ART 2, with frame bracket
Suited to the bike trade, DIY stores, bike rental and leasing companies, and webshops for bike accessories. See also the overarching category bicycle locks.
