When the alarm is triggered for the first time, it will provide 3 short warning beeps. This allows you to unlock the lock without setting of the alarm. The next time it is triggered a 110DB alarm will sound for 15 seconds. Alarm setting: Open the lock and remove the shackle. On the inside of the bracket, a slot can be seen on one side. When the slot is inserted on the key side, the alarm is on. Otherwise, the alarm is off. Replace battery: Open the lock and remove the shackle. Then remove the 2 screws in the bracket holes. Remove the battery cover and replace the batteries ( 6x LR44).
